Some of my favorites

This is one of my favorite pages.  It's really simple actually - just takes some patience.  It is a great way to use some old photos that you either have multiple shots of or not a lot of usable space other than the face on a photo.  I have a great square Shape Maker by Creative Memories.  It cuts 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" squares.  I just used the smaller cut for all the faces and the larger for the mats.  I placed the faces in order from youngest to oldest.  I'm pleased with how it turned out.  This is actually the front page of her 2-4 year old album. 

 

This is another simple title page made with a few left overs and the CriCut.  I love the tearing method, as you can see.  I had some scrap paper that I cut the letters from.  I'm also enjoying the new CM paper flowers.

I apologize in advance regarding the quality of the photos.  My talent is in creating scrapbooks with photos, not the actual photo taking.  =)  I wanted to go ahead and get the photos up and will work on some better quality ones soon.  Hopefully you get the idea!

One of my absolute favorite workshops I teach each year is the Calendar Workshop.  We put together a year's worth of calendar pages in one workshop and are all ready for the new year!  Just add photos & events as they happen and you stay on top of it every year - never missing anything.

I keep my monthly calendar on my refrigerator and use it as our family calendar.  I add it back to my album the end the month with photos.  It's much easier to keep up with!

I can fit 2 years worth of calendars (double layouts) in one album.  Works great for baby's first year, too!

I was introduced to the art of "scrapbooking" in 1998.  I have been hooked ever since.  Over the years I have actually made more scrapbooks for others than myself having given them as gifts for baby showers, weddings, Christmas, and birthdays.  There truly is no other gift so personal or special.  I am grateful to have the patience, the abilities, and the love of creating these beautiful keepsakes that will last for years and years to come.  I will pass my own albums down to my children in hopes that they will appreciate the time and commitment of preserving our family traditions, stories, and memories over their lifetimes.
